At June 30, 2010, the real estate portfolio consisted of 26 properties with a total rentable space of about 192,995 sq.m. and a book value of SEK 1,939 M. These premises are currently used primarily for passenger car sales – however, due to the favorable location they are considered to hold good potential for other forms of retail. Many of them are in areas that are already used for retail and are easily accessible by car or public transit.
The Stockholm region is Catena’s largest segment in terms of book value, followed by the Gothenburg region and the Öresund region.
Bilia is the largest tenant during 2010 and accounted for about 83.6.0% of rental revenue. Other tenants include Vestas, Volvo Truck Center Sweden, Lunds Fordonstekniska Gymnasium, Friskis & Svettis, Tidermans, Motor Trend and Märkesoutlet. Rental leases have varying maturities. The average remaining lease period for all leases at July 1, 2010 was 8.1 years.
