Catena signs seven-year lease agreements at Svågertorp’s retail park in Malmö
Catena has signed lease agreements with HTH Kök and Myresjökök at Svågertorp’s retail park in Malmö.
The property, which was acquired in 2007 and was originally built as an auto workshop, is now being converted into retail space for selling kitchens and bathrooms. The investment is approximately SEK 5.5 M and the lease agreements extend for seven years starting in September 2010. The leased space is approximately 1,500 square meters. There is currently approximately 300 square meters of vacant space in the property, as well as possible building rights for about 1,250 square meters. Catena also has a building right for the adjacent property of about 3,000 square meters.
“The lease agreements are entirely in line with Catena’s strategy of improving simpler workshop spaces for retail. Interest in becoming established at Svågertorp’s retail park has increased with the opening of IKEA,” says Peter Hallgren, President of Catena.
